Welcome!
Being a bit of a computer nerd AND a packrat, I've managed to
accumulate a variety of computer parts and peripherals. I decided that the
best way to make room for some new stuff was to sell the old stuff. A
garage sale seemed like a good idea. Since I was going to go to the
trouble of having a garage sale, I decided I should also go through all the
other stuff I've managed to accumulate, and put it all in one big sale.
Apparently, having a garage sale seemed like a good idea to others in my family,
too, so they've contributed a variety of goods to make things interesting.
As it turns out, there's too much stuff for the garage alone, so I'm having a Garage
AND Yard Sale. We live on two acres, so there's plenty of yard!
Since it's so expensive to advertise in the newspaper, my
husband suggested putting together a website listing everything I want to sell,
and including photos. Then, he said, I could just list the website address
in the newspaper ad, and people who were really interested could see for
themselves whether it was worth making a trip to our house. So I've made a
list below of the major items, with descriptions and links to photos as I
thought might be needed or helpful.
