August 9, 2008 - 2nd Saturday on the Square
Look for classic cars to fill Town Square for this event, and don't be surprised to see a few Harleys as well.  Bring your own hot rod and have it cleaned by a mobile detailer.  And while someone else is doing the work, you can enjoy the shops, restaurants, and vendors!

September 13, 2008 - 2nd Saturday on the Square
Book it to Lancaster for this annual Book Fair, featuring book signings, book sales, and more.

October 11, 2008 - 2nd Saturday on the Square and OktoberFest
Lancaster's Historic District will be chock-full of special attractions from Heritage Park to Town Square, to the Historic MKT Train Depot & Rose Garden.  Town Square will feature arts & crafts vendors, live entertainment, and an amusement area.  The MKT Train Depot will be the site of a wine auction, and the Rose Garden will be turned into an authentic German Beer Garden with live music.

November 8, 2008 - 2nd Saturday on the Square and Veterans Day Tribute
Join us for a day of flag-waving patriotism.  And while you're here, you might as well get a headstart on your holiday shopping!

December 6, 2008 - Christmas in Olde Towne Lancaster

Join us for Saturday on the Square and finish all your holiday shopping!  Shop the stores and vendors to find the perfect holiday gifts for everyone on your list, and enjoy a great meal at one of our restaurants.  And don't forget to order your holiday cakes and cookies from one of our Town Square chefs.  Talk to Lisa and her crew at Kale's Kitchen to see what kind of tasty tidbits they're offering, or see Suzanne and her staff at the Lovin' Oven.  Give yourself the gift of a less stressful holiday season and leave the baking to the professionals!

4th Annual Lancaster Lights & Tour of Homes
Tickets are available for purchase at Hardscrabble Antiques, Chic & Shabby, and the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, and proceeds go to help beautify public spaces in Lancaster with lights and holiday decorations.  Visit www.HeritageParkFoundation.org for a list of homes included on the tour, or visit www.LancasterLights.org for photographs from last year's event.

Open House at the Historic MKT Depot
The Lancaster Historical Society will offer light refreshments and tours of the facility from 5:00 - 9:00 PM.  Carolers in Victorian costume will serenade guests.  This event is free and open to the public.  Visit www.LHSweb.org to learn more about the Historical Society and to see photos of the MKT Depot and adjacent Rose Garden.

December 13, 2007 - Christmas in Olde Towne Lancaster

2nd Saturday on the Square will feature great shopping with arts & crafts vendors and their specialty wares.  Stores will be open late for holiday shopping.  In addition, "A Class Act" Dance Troupe will perform as a prelude to the evening's activities.

Santa Arrives at Town Square
This being Santa's busy season, he's pressed for time, but he can't afford to wear out the reindeer this early in the season, so he'll be arriving by helicopter this year.  Be sure to bring the kids!

Join Mayor Joe Tillotson and Santa as they light up Town Square.

Snowing in Lancaster?
The folks at Lancaster's Parks & Recreation Department have promised that there will be plenty of snow on Town Square, with a hill for sledding.  You don't want to miss THIS!
